Parent Involvement

Cub Scouts is intended to be a program for the Parent(s) to spend time with their children and participate together. Parents are asked to be in attendance at all Pack Meetings, excluding extenuating circumstances.

Parent attendance is a requirement for the Lion and Tiger years per the BSA policies.

The Pack is run solely by, and dependent on, parent volunteers. They do a great job ensuring that the scouts have a quality program and a great experience overall. That said, we always are in need of help to continue to offer a top-notch program. Please consider helping out! Most positions do not require a lot of time or special knowledge, just a willingness to take an active role in your scout’s growth and development. We have a committee of leaders to help our new volunteers learn their role as well as support and training available from our unit District, the Council, and the National BSA. The more folks (Moms or Dads) that help out the easier it is for everyone and the better the program is for the scouts! Please contact us to find out how you can help.
